Cookie policy.

This policy explains the single strictly necessary, first-party session cookie used by Beaduck’s project inquiry form. Merely browsing the public pages does not cause Beaduck to set this cookie.

1. Current cookie inventory

Name: beaduck_contact
Provider: Beaduck’s own website domain (first party)
Purpose: remembers the time of a recent project-form submission so that repeated automated or abusive submissions can be slowed down
When set: when the project inquiry endpoint is submitted
Duration: browser session only; it expires when the browser session ends
Type: strictly necessary
Access controls: HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure when the site is served over HTTPS

2. Why there is no consent banner

The current website does not deploy optional cookies or similar trackers. Under the approach reflected in Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Authority cookie guidance and Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive, consent is not normally required for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Beaduck therefore provides this notice but does not display a misleading “accept all” banner for cookies that are not present.

If analytics, embedded media, advertising, personalisation or another non-essential technology is added later, it must remain blocked until the applicable preference or consent mechanism has been implemented. This policy and the cookie interface must then be updated before that technology goes live.

3. Browser controls

You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary form cookie may prevent the anti-abuse rate limit from working as intended, but it will not affect browsing the public information pages. You can also contact Beaduck directly at hello@beaduckstudio.com.

5. Changes

This inventory must be reviewed whenever the hosting setup, form protection, embedded content or measurement tools change. The effective date above will be updated when a material change is made.
